T101 Jasmine Green Tea 茉莉香片
This is a green tea produced in
Fujian
province
of
China
and then scented with jasmine flower. It has a light taste with a pleasant fragrance of jasmine flower. It is very attractive to ladies. Fill one-sixth of the teapot and brew the tea with water of 85˚C for 2 minute.
T102 Dinggu Dafang 頂谷大方
This is a very good green tea produced in
Anhui
province, only the spring flush is used and fried in a pan. It has a strong fragrance of bean and sweet taste, and is a very good health drink. Brew with water of 80˚C for 2 minute.
T103 South-cliff Tieguanyin 南巖鐵觀音
This is a famous oolong tea produced in southern
Fujian
province. Its full fragrance is much appreciated by the people with a note of flower. This tea is made with the spring flush with a light sweet taste, and a fragrant aftertaste. Use a small stoneware teapot and fill the utensil to one-third, then brew the tea with fresh boiling water for 1 minute. It can make 3 to 4 brews.
T104 Peony White tea 壽眉牡丹
This is a very popular drink in
Hong Kong
, especially in the restaurants. The tea is produced in
Fujian
province. Its clean and sweet taste is very pleasant and very good to go with light Chinese cooking. A good white tea should be pale yellowish and clear with a fresh smell with a note of tofu. Brew the tea with water of 85˚C, the timing and amount is flexible.
T105 Yunnan Pu-er 雲南普洱
This is a very popular drink in
Hong Kong
too and the Chinese people think this a very healthy drink to help digestion. The tea is produced in
Yunnan
province and the fresh tea is kept for a long time to undergo a process called post-fermentation. So the colour of the tea leaves turns to be dark and so it is called the black tea. It has a mellow taste and full body with a earthy smell. Pu-er tea is getting more expensive after storage for a longer time, this sample is already 5 years old. Wash the tea once and then brew with water of 100˚C for 1 to 2 minutes.
T106 Lapsang Souchong (smoky type) 正山小種
This is the oldest kind of red tea produced in high mountains of
Fujian
province. Its smoky character is welcomed by westerner for many years since the 18th century.
The tea is picked in one season only and then fermented and dried with pine wood fire to acquire its special flavor. Brew the tea with fresh boiling water for 2 minutes.
T201 Premium jasmine green tea 天一香芽
Same as T101, but only the very young bud of the spring flush is used. So use lower temperature water to brew this delicate tea, 80˚C is very good.
T202 Premium yellow mountain maofeng 黃山毛峰
This a one of the ten most famous teas in
China
, which produced in the valleys of famous scenic spot Huangshan in
Anhui
province. Only the young buds of the spring flush is used and fried lightly to give this tea a subtle sweet fresh taste with a light fragrance of orchid. Brew this tea with water of about 80˚C in a glass.
T203 Wuyi Shuixin 武夷水仙
This is a kind of oolong tea produced in Wuyi mountains in
Fujian
province. Our selection is from the very old tea trees to give a distinguished fragrance and sweet aftertaste. A good shuixin tea should have a smooth and fine texture and soothe the throat comfortably. Brew the tea with 100˚C water for 1 minute.
T204 Phoenix Danchong 鳳凰單欉
This is a famous oolong tea produced in Swatow area,
Guangdong
province, which is highly appreciated by the local people. Its special fruity fragrance and taste like the skin of the muscat grapes with a little bitterness is very pleasant and well balanced. It is very refreshing and with good aftertaste make it very attractive. Brew the tea with 85˚C for 1 minute.
T205 ’99 awarded Tieguanyin 九九年得獎觀音王
Same as T103, but this sample wins the second award in the competition. This is a very good example of fine tieguanyin with flowery fragrance, complex taste, long aftertaste and can make many brews up to 6 to 7 times. This is a selection of autumn flush.
T206 Wuyi Rugui 武夷老欉玉桂
Same as T203, but the fragrance is different with a spicy note. This is selection from old tea trees with a very good aftertaste. This is a good all seasons tea and is very highly praised in Wuyi area in
Fujian
province.
T207 Silver Needle 銀針白猴王
This is a similar tea as T104, both of them are white tea. But the silver needle is only made with the strong buds of the first flush from the white tea trees in early spring, so the quantity is limited. Its sweet and clean fragrance and aroma is very attractive, and is thought to be an excellent drink to keep the voice (vocal cord). Brew with 80˚C water for 2 or 3 minutes.
T208 Lapsang Souchong 桂圓正山小種
Same as T106 but with a less smoky flavor and stronger fruity note of dried longyan (a Chinese fruit like lychee ).
T209 Premium Pu-er 特選雲南普洱
Same as T105 but this tea is a premium selection of 10 years old pu-er.
